Pimplistic. Leave the red on for a bit it gives it character, plus your car's colors are pretty much black and the red lights so they go well. You can probably (very likely) be able to get some gray caps.

The 'red center cap' is the protective film that was suppossed to be removed prior to putting the Acura emblem on the center cap.

Awesome! Yep, when I installed mine I was also pleasantly surprised by the noticeable improvement in ride quality and smoothness. I really expected these to suffer a bit moving to the lower profile 18's. Thank you, Pirelli!

Are they still 18x8.5? I know there were some rumors saying they would be reduced to 18x8.

Thanks.

They look good, but more vulnerable to curb rash than even the stock wheels. I definitely like the silver better than the gunmetal.

THe car looks nice and clean especially with those A-spec rims!!! So how do you like the performance of the Pirelli P-zero Nero tires. Any plans in lowering the car soon. I checked out one of the car shops in Richmond and they can lower our car for $260.00 installed Cdn with the springs. THey are H&R springs that will lower 1.75inches front and 1.5 inches for the rear. That is a dam good price eh!! Once you lower the car it would be a complete package dude!!!

Nice wheels Ravi. That is next on the list for my NBP. How much did you pay for Pirelli?

yea i want to lower it....are u talking about garage 5?
They have that special going on right now for integras and civics.
but im not planning on lowering it that much
maybe just 1inch in the front and a little less in the back

thinking about going with the TEIN coilovers so i can adjust the height.
the pirellis are awesome. they grip really nice and the ride feels slighly better than stock.
highly recommended if your thinking about them.

What is the offset for the new A-Spec wheels? They look so much nicer than the previous version.

Yes how do you know!!! I asked about the Tein's coilovers and it will cost us $1100.00 for the springs and shocks all together. However, if you don't want to pay too much you can go for Skunk coilovers for only $500.00 without the shocks. Since you don't want to lower the car too much you can probably survive with out the shocks since the TL shocks are pretty good already. But nice job on the car and I'll probably see you around on the road. Don't you find that you see alot more TL's the last few months. I see at least 2-4 per day. Acura TL must be selling well.

yea i talked to garage five today and they quoted me the same for the TEINs and $520ish for the comptechs installed
also called srautogroup they have h&r springs which lower 1.4 in the front and 1 in the back or something for 480 installed
im reallly interested in the comptechs and i might get them installed or the h&r's in the next month or so
yea i do notice alot more TL's way to many. Thats why i want to make mine different

I don't know if you want to go Comptech. They seem to have a reputation of rusting and then resulting falling apart. That is quite scary and I would not take that chance. If you go H&R or Tein you will not go wrong. Well hope to see your car w/some lowering springs and don't forget to post some pics once you do. Cheers bud!!!

Looks very nice, but they seem to look smaller than the 04 ASPEC wheels.

Ravi..

Do you Aero Kit also? The car looks great in the pics and i am really trying to decide on whether or not to get the kit. I am getting the A-Spec Rims and A-Spec steering wheel but havn't seen a Tl with a kit in person. All i know is that on here, most of the pics without the kits look like the are a litte girly or missing something. But if yours is without a kit then maybe the rims make all the diff in the world.

The reason i ask is because i am not overly impressed with the front portion of the kit.

If possible, could you please post a pic of the side view of your car? I would greatly appreciate it.

Great looking car!!! love the rims and can't wait to order mine in 3 weeks.

Thanks,
Dave

dave,

no i donthave the kit and i know what you about the "girly" look without wheels
im going to kit the next summer after winter passes by. I agree the front does look out of place somewhat
they should have made it lower and not so high

i will take more pics of the car later today.

Very very nice! They look a bit like the SSR's I had on my Type-S, and the AMG wheels on the 2004 E55. The satin silver looks awesome. Are the A-specs made by Enkei (they make the OE wheels).?

I know some will say I am nuts, but objects have hints of speed to my eye. The stock wheels look tough, like a bull dog. The A-specs look less meaty, but graceful, like an antelope. Both have their pros and cons.

So they are 235/40-18's? Which Pirelli? It would have to have a softer compound and/or less stiff sidewall, for it to have the ride benefits you have mentioned. I assume you are making that statement based on the same PSI. correct?
