Back up from the dead.
Yesterday ended up being a very beautiful day. I took the TL out for the day and took a few photos with my SLR. It was great to get out with the wifey and enjoy the day together. The last month has been stressful for us both, so it was a nice change. I noticed the steering wheel was off center (due to my mistake) I removed it twice and tried to position the wheel dead center. Looks like the splines are different from the original steering wheel. Ultimately an alignment would fix it. I did noticed the new leather seats hold in more heat (likely due to the material and padding) so not too sure how well they will be in the summer time. I needed some adjustment to the steering wheel. Overall, had a great time. I haven't driven the TL in over 2 months so it was well over due. Still got a ton of compliments and best of all, most were taken back that it's an 04. Not sure when I'll swap the WORKs on, maybe in a month or so. Well, here are the photos I took. No real editing done.

Thanks! Yes, it's a must do on these vehicles since the OEM stuff is pure garbage. If cost is an issue, EndlessRPM sells the slip on covers.
What's going on buddy!! Congratulations to you and your wonderful fiance!! I wish you both the very best and a life time of happiness. That sounds like a plan! You already know how close we were when you were in the City.
What's up broski!! Thank you VERY MUCH for the super kind words man! You're awesome man! Hope all is well!
What's up buddy!! How's your bicep healing? Thank you for the super kind words!
Thank you very much! Your TL looks amazing, keep it up!!

It seems as if most I know have gotten some serious injuries lately. My best friends wife had a smaller dining room table collapse on her foot. It's just say it broke the bones before the toes. At least building the bicep muscle back to normal isn't terrible. I still see a massage therapist to break the scar tissue on my calf. I feel as my calf is fully healed and the overall time frame has been about 6 months.

Thank you very much better.
Minor update.
The audio system in the TL is still completely stock. It's the only part of the car that I haven't really messed with. I always said the stock system was plenty for me. I never liked heavy bass, but a good amount with clarity = best system to me. I ordered the Phantom Audio re-tuned AMP (Signature series) with the re-tuned tweeters. I placed the order with Marcus and got shipment information sent right away.
I got the 04-06 Amp because I wanted to make sure there was no issues. So I received my order yesterday. Unpacked everything, which was packaged very well, I noticed on the amp and the tweeters J.L. had placed stickers on everything and even signed with a marker his name on the amp. You can see where the modifications were made to the tweeters but unless you open the amp, it looks the same. Now, the next part is because i'm OCD with minor details. Obviously these items are from other "Cores" which J.L does his work on. So it's not new and there's a big trust that whatever is given back to him is indeed in good condition. The tweeters were a bit dirty, which again, only because i'm OCD with it. I took the covers apart and just cleaned them. Now, the moment where everything is swapped and test time. The sound is clear, some parts sound a bit deeper and when maxing out on the VOL. the sound doesn't get distorted. So, it's still clear, sounds a bit better but is it worth the cost? Perhaps if you take the money spent and invest more for mid range to top end components, i'd say that would be a better route. If you're looking for getting the MOST out of the stock system and can settle that it won't be the best thing, this route is for you. Here are some photos for reference.

Jesse was awesome and when I did mine, I think it was a tad cheaper so it felt worth it to me...good balance between that giving that bump and then having that 10" rear enclosure for bass.
Glad you're happy, Gus.
and your OCD is fucking serious!

No doubt man. After listening to the radio a bit more, it was a good move on my end to purchase the AMP and tweeters. Yes, the OCD stuff is pretty serious lmao.

A small update. Put the WORKs back on for the Summer season. Went to my 1st car show of the season today. Didn't stay too long due to rain heading towards our way. It rained super light when going to the show, which the last time my TL saw rain was nearly 6 years ago.. Had a great time overall. Some really nice classic vehicles to most modern. I was the only import guy at the show and got a ton of compliments. Here are the photos I took from the show. Enjoy!

Very nice! Dig the gold Works on the WDP. I'll keep them clean for you if you don't want them anymore.
