Yeah dealership, you just need 1 for the driver side. Basically you are ordering the same part that goes on the passenger side and sticking it on the driver side.

Jay, I got them from Ebay. There are a few people who do it, but I got mine from Brian Kim (bkim317@hotmail.com). I think they were $10 for 3 sets.

The only thing keeping me from doing this is the fact that I like putting the key in and rolling all the windows up. Pretty cool trick.

So if this covers the key hole on the drivers side, and what if its hot, and I opened all the windows from the remote, how would i close the windows from the OUTSIDE? if there isn't a key hole anymore?

So, couldn't I just take a KEY HOLE COVER from the passenger side of a junkyard TL? And flit it, use it for the drivers side door handle? Would that work?

Kind of....make sure you get it from the driver's side, not the passenger's side. It's the same cover from the rear handle on the driver's side handle. If you buy one at the dealership, it's only $14 maximum.

If that were to happen all you would have to do is pop off the cover, takes like two seconds.

I noticed your cover does not fit the curve of the "channel" flush. it looks like the cover was meant for the passenger side of the car. Can you confirm if that is the driver side cover or passenger side cover? I just want to make sure I am ordering the right one. Thanks.

Anybody else have a closeup shot of their door handle for comparison?

This is from the rear driver's side handle.

ok, thanks for clarifying. Perhaps due to the shadow it appears, at least to my untrained eye, that it is the cover from the passenger side. I was at my friend's autobody shop and he happened to be working on a TL with the door handles off. I would never have even noticed that there was a different curvature between the driver and passenger side covers until that day that I was looking at them side by side. Anyways, it looks like a great mod and I will make sure that when I purchase it I will request the driver side rear door cover and NOT the passenger side one.
