Question XLR8 motor mounts

Hi,

I will be changing my mounts soon. I'm leaning towards xlr8 vs innovative.
How are the 75a for the 6mt ppl ?

Also I thought the warranty was LIFETIME ?

According to this thread it's 1 year from date of purchase ?

^because the innovative mounts "doughnuts"..no? if thats the case, no shit they give you a lifetime warranty

I chose the XLR8 72a motor mounts.
very strong, and with the abuse I give my 6MT, they're holding up just fine with about 1000 miles on them.

IMHO, if you need a warranty on XLR8 motor mounts, you're doing something wrong...

I abuse the hell out of my car.

I knew innovative has a v2 mount kit now. That's not the question I'm asking, I'm asking about xlr8 motor mounts 75a and their warranty which I thought once was " lifetime "

But I guess I'll excuse your ignorance because I guess you didn't " know " or just can't read my title / 1st post. But I'm done... I'm moving on....

these mounts are not gonna break.

and if the poly does donut, it's probably time to replace them as they do wear and tear.
a heck of a lot better than OEM mounts, tho.

How do the aftermarket mounts work if the stocks are vacumed? Do you have to reroute the vacum line?

You cap off the vacuum line at the intake manifold. The aftermarket mounts don't use vacuum since they don't adjust like the stock mounts.
