Wrong installation on CAI ?
when you take the OEM airbox out do you have remove the aluminum breather ( kiddda look like the S Shape ) tube out to replace with the Rubber Hose that came with the CAI ? I didn't take that part out so I hope that I didn't fuck it up...
Not real sure what your talking about.
Can you take pics & post them.
Or just check out the install of overs from the forum.
There are GREAT write ups from other members.
From what I know when I installed my CAI I had to
remove "all OEM air intake components" So that
there is nothing connected the TB.

Yes you need to remove this piping.
the larger pipe is for the air from the IM(intake manifold) housing to the the CAI, the smaller is for the coolant to warm the TB(throttle body).
big hose and small hose in your kit.
this is a great time for you to do the TB coolent bypass, doing this you will not need to use the thin tube that came with you CAI.
if you look at the TB you will see a hose going in, and a hose going out. take the hose going in and just connect it to where the hose going out was connected.
this will keep your TB cooler which will keep your HP up after you have been driving a while.
hotter air= less hp.
a little coolant will leak out its fine, just make sure to put back on the metal straps on the tubing as best you can. if you cant its no big deal as long as you push them back on all the way they will stay on(the coolant hoses), just check them from time to time to make sure there still all the way on.
