Whats up guys, im not very good at the custom exhaust area and that seems to be all i can afford. I have been looking around and i dont want to try and re-envent the wheel, but the tones i like the most come from the Magnaflow systems. My question is will this setup work? I got the ideas from NCTL05 and from Yonkers914. I would like to do this... 2 Magnaflow mufflers # 14362 and resonator # 10426 with the double walled tips # 35177 or # 35121, delete mid-muffler with 2.5 inch piping from the cat to the Y. I dont know if all of these parts will weld together properly with some being a 2.25 inlet diam and some being 2.5. Do all the inlet dia. need to be the same or off by a 1/4 of an inch?

I know everyone likes the quad tip exhaust but i have the base bumper with an aspec lip coming soon, i dont like the crowded look so I figure Ill stick with the dual tips.

you'll end up with small bottle necking...but really it won't matter unless you are planning to increase piping by a large amount..sounds like you aren't.

a muffler shop(even the ghetto ones) will have a machine to stretch the pipes in an appropriate manner, to sleeve them. sleeved pipes are really common way to make non stainless exhuasts, and actually its what Borla uses on their systems.

unless i am totally off base with how i took the original post, i don't see why this would be an issue
