The Track Terror
I'd say the J&R ecu is a solid investment and the owner Rodney is a legit and stand-up guy...excellent customer service and reliable products right out of the box...a wise financial decision indeed...

Before mods close this thread, Nobles, just do some reading. When I joined and got my TL in 08, I was new like you. Thankfully the TL wasn't old like it is today (3G that is) so most people were more open to helping if you made so many threads. Unfortunately, that is not the case now because all the threads, in the past 4 years, has been redone about 15x. The only thread that can/should be remade is something related to the Turbo, ECU, or something belong those lines.
We're not dicks, but its almost like asking your teacher what's the first US President from first grade to college. If you don't know, look it up. Don't keep asking it. The search function should and need to be used before making a thread. Yes, asking a question doesn't hurt, but for us reading the same question over and over when you basically asked the same question in three threads it does.
All in all, don't get butt hurt on what they say. Therefore, do your job by searching, and if you do that, we will have nothing to say.

Oh, and the only thing that needs to "bounce" are your aunt's hooters.
And of course, this can't be a GrimFandango post without some extremely light detective work now, can it? Enjoy fellas:
Here's our little leaguer going 135 mph. With that kind of irresponsible driving, there's no point modding his car to make it light and go fast since he'll probably end up totaling it.

Where can you easily find TL-s cams?

spends his lunch $ on his
^^ for new ones talk to Tim, for used ones i would suggest posting a WTB (want to buy) ad in the back market

i was thinking aem cai forsure. but v1 or v2? then the 07-08 tl s cams
then i was thinking either
j pipe , fuel injectors , or Ur Crank Pulley. then maybe J&R Ecu?
then save for a Turbo or supercharger.
how does it sound? what order shoukd i get them? and am i missing anything important? which i know i am. . but thatbis why acurazine is here

YES, you're pretty annoying. The questions are pretty annoying.Originally Posted by Nobles
yeah i know you guys think im annoying for asking so many damn questions. but as long as im getting stuff done then i dont care what you trolls have to say. because at the end of the day . im the only one i have to take care of.. haters = motivaters , people who Appreciate = higher success rate. so as of now i have a greddy evo 2 catback. what do i need next?

I'm not a hater and I'm not a troll... But your approach is pretty ridiculous. You point out how and what you want people to think, and still demand answers? Especially on points that have been beaten to death countless times.
You mention you have a greddy, and ask what you need to do next.
Well, since you ask and demand answers, I say you do some reading!
Now, how something sounds is another ridiculous thing to ask. We don't all have the same ear for things. What you like, I most likely hate (you can bet on this).
So you will not get a definite answer on sounds.
All intakes are just about the same crap, with the exception of one being shinier than another.
Now, your last line of mods says "Then save for a turbo or supercharger"
If you wanna save for a turbo, then you can start by NOT buying a CAI, not buying a jpipe, not buying crank pulley, not buying cams. Thats about $2000 minus the installation.
If you wanna save for a supercharger. Then get everything in whatever order you want, plus the PCDs.
If you really want cams, get the aftermarket cams, not the TLs. If you're going to dig into the heads, might as well do something that will make a difference. But if you're going FI, you don't really need to. Up to you.
But, seriously, spend a few weeks reading on the forum. You will learn quiet a few things. You will learn enough to gain some confidence on making decisions on your mods, so you wouldn't have to ask everyone if you should get blue or purple, or rainbow lug nuts. You can just decide on rainbow all on your own, and be proud.

Nobel means well, he's just young so I cut him some slack.
But Opel's response was pretty epic I must say...and he knows what he's talking about.
