I bought a comptech supercharger for my 08 acura tl s auto. How do I know if this is for the 3rd gen? Some people online are saying it's for the 2nd gen. There's no website I can search the serial number since they went out of business or can I? Any help would be appreciated it !!!

From the first picture, it appears you have a 3G kit. I only say that based on the wider look of the S/C'er drive pulley.
Measure the drive shaft of the S/C'er unit to make sure, hopefully it is 19.75" as indicated below.


The 2G unit input shaft length is longer.
There also appears to be what looks like a DBW throttle body connected to the input side of the S/C'er manifold, so that can be a good indication, if correct?
The CT-E acm looks to be for a 3G as well.

 

Here is a picture, for reference, of what the 2G shaft pulley looks like (4-rib).


The picture below is the electronic signal modifier (ESM) that came with the 2G kit.

What’s the diameter of the pulley? Pulleys are measured tooth to tooth. Looks to
me like a high boost pulley. I’ll take a pic of mine this weekend
