I would put the covers back on to make it look more "sleeperish". Otherwise - oh yeah

What the hell would you do with a FWD car that goes so damn fast with that thing... I dont think it will be practical.... exactly how many HP more would you attain with this thing? 50? 100?

Count me in baby! Wanted to SC my s2000, but never got around to it. This TL project I have to do. Hopefully Comptech can keep it around $3k. Best part about Comptech is that it does not void the waranty and the 60+ ponies will make the TL unbelieveable

Nope, I have enough BHP for a front wheel drive car. Now, if the TL was a RWD or AWD, well............thats another story.

that's what the CL guys used to say.
allmotor2000 puts down 420 FWHP w/ his turbo.
Scalbert with his SC was cleaning up sometihng like 360...

the cars were still very drivable and a hoot to get on the gas with from the reviews given.

Just wondering, looking at the placement of that supercharger where's the battery going to go?

Gotta get a new tranny though, making the charger upgrade even mooore expensive.

I would get one if it were cheap enough, but not until my 50,000 miles are up.

For the combined cost... I would rather get a 2000 BMW M3 as a spare toy.

It really isn't that big of a deal. If you want the SC, you'd do it. Obviously you don't.

The supercharger install is MUCH more complicated than the battery relocation. It is necessary to fit the supercharger in those tight quarters.

For 60-80 hp I would think the relocation was worth it...

I think I would want the battery in the trunk once you add the weight of that SC. Just to keep the weight off the front end.

The relocation of the battery may help weight balance of the TL. However, moving the battery to the trunk (a serious relocation) will have to be included in the supercharger kit.

Looks nice....I guess it will depend on the price tag and how much hp is added. Comptech will not void any warranties.

Nice. I'm impressed that it even fits in the TL's tight engine bay. Very impressive!!

That depends on the dealer. Some will take care of it, others will pass the buck.
