What exactly does the Comptech ACM do?

Does anyone know exactly what the Comptech ACM do?

It obviously have to clamp the MAP sensor at a certain voltage so the ECU won't throw a code.

Comptech also said VTEC is lowered to 4000rpm, or is it 3000? Does anyone know if they just simply lowered the VTEC engagement point or if they also adjusted the fuel and ignition map for the lower VTEC crossover?

It also must add fuel for boost. Since the ACM don't have it's own MAP sensor, I would assume it just runs off a map that is based on RPM.

Does the ACM retard timing? If so, how much?

If anyone know, please help me out!
Thanks

Okay finally digged out the wiring diagram for the ACM. There are no connections to the ignition system what so ever. So the ACM only dump more fuel, adjust the VTEC, and clamp the MAP.

I am surprised we are able to run the supercharger with no timing retard at all.

My guess is that because of it only running 4psi, they were able to get by without getting too technical.

I really wish a re-flash or some kind of piggy-back would come out soon...

Sorry I was refering to a good one. Greddy = Junk. Comptech's is only for the S/C'ed guys, and I havn't seen any others, probably because I don't see anyone else talking about them either.

I will disagree with this statement as sean has been able to use both blue & ultimate @ the same time

AEM F/IC will be able to replace the E-manage, except for the ability to raise the rev limiter.

You might be able to get past that and the speed limiter using the APEXi RSM, Touge put it on his RL and disabled it.

I saw that thread, and they may work well together, but that again is also not my idea of "good" if I'm having to run two completely separate units to achieve the result when one should easily suffice.
