What all is needed?

First off, I unfortunately know next to nothing about the mechanics of a car. That being said, I was looking into getting a supercharger and exhaust for my 06 TL. Everything on it right now is stock. If i would get those 2 things put on, do i need to do other adjustments to the car, or will those things be just fine? I'm just looking to add a little more power to the car. Any advice is good advice at this point.

Yeah it's manual. Just one of the posts kinda worried me because he was talking about a rod going through the engine because of to much boost. I don't know where to start with that kind of stuff.

RV6 precats, J-pipe, test pipe, light weight pulley, snow performance methanol/water injection

Once you add horsepower you will have to think about things like suspension, sway and strut bars, innovative mounts, brakes.

It seemed like that guy was beating the hell out of his car, so I wouldn't worry too much unless you are really hard on the car. As far as the Supercharger set up goes to get the full 100-110 hp you are looking at alot of money. My set up $4500 for the supercharger, $1000 for Pro-Cats, $400 for ATLP J-Pipe, $125 for the 3rd cat delete, $1150 for the Full ATLP catback, and $1000 geting the type-s rear bumper, buying all the extra parts having it painted and then installed. So $8175. Thats a big mod. You can do just the supercharger and some $1000 exhaust or get pre-cat deletes that remove all your cats, but you need to open up the rest of the exhaust to get the full effect. If you have the money is not a bad way to drop 8K, the car turns into a beast and makes daily driving 10x more tolerable.

You

Well it's a good thing I just got back from a deployment not to long ago. It doesn't sound like a bad price for all of it. My next question is, is there a certain order this all has to be done in? Like can I do the ATLP J-pipe w/o getting the Pro-cats first? Can i get the supercharger before the exhaust?

You will benefit a whole lot more with that setup if you get a Cold Air Intake.

Also, if you do a s/c you will need a smaller battery or you will have to relocate it.

before you dish out 5K for the charger, do the stuff so you can see the performance increase from being N/A (naturally aspirated where the engine sucks in air) than being F/I (Forced induction where the supercharger forces air into the engine)

Mods you should do:
AEM Cold Air intake - Allows for cooler air to enter the engine
Ported and Polished intake runners - bigger and smoother airways so the motor can suck in air easily.
Pre-Cat deletes - delete the catalysts to help exhaust flow
J-Pipe - remove restrictions in the stock pipe that restrict air-flow
Test Pipe - remove the third cat to remove restictions
Exhaust- make the car exhale easier
UR pulley (stock sized) - this will reduce the mass of the crank pulley so it can spin up easier and faster

I suggest that you get the AEM Cold Air Intake and the pulley, then the Precat deletes, J-pipe and Test Pipes. Then go with the exhaust. Lastly go with the ported and polished runners.

BTW what year TL do you have?

I have the same car. I started off with just the supercharger and stock everthing else, It really makes you feel the differance as you add the pieces together. As far as the Pro-cats/pre-cats, you will not see the 100+hp gains until the exhaust is fully free flowing. You need to address the the cats to make the supercharger work best. My car was a super sleeper before my exhaust, it sounded like a f-1 car. It will really transform you car, the 6 speed is fun N/A, but add 100 hp and you are talking some serious fun.
