Voltage Stabilizer

Has anyone looked into one of these? They are claiming a 7% increase in power (voltage i guess) fuel economy, response, increase torque at lower and middle speeds. Not sure what to think about this one!!!!

Buy one and let us know how it works out

Seriously though, save your money. These are totally pointless. No different than all the other 'easy power' scams like fuel line magnets, performance chips, fuel atomizers, turbulence increasers, etc., etc., etc.

Here is my link to an install. I do not think there is any way that you will get any HP increase that you will feel. I did see a slight MPG increase. very slight. I did experience a smoother idle. This car is super sensitive to voltage and grounding issues. I have not experienced any and I am confident that my ground system is now very robust. I am also confident that all of the sensors and electronics are all working with the same information as far as voltage and grounds. Does it really do anything? Hard to really be sure and to quantify. It is a relatively low dollar mod and kind of a fun one to plan and execute.

my car had a lot of problems with low end torque and surging when it was hot outside or the car was heatsoaked, after so many years "i hate cars" a well respected member here found out that it was due to the battery since he had very similar issues like i did. Now both of us when we replaced the battery the car runs great. The heat would cause the battery to have unstable voltages and would play tricks with the ECU. So something like this might actually benefit but i wont touch a thing anymore as it runs great

I have one cuz I got it for cheap. I don't really feel anything, but it has a voltage gauge on it. So I can't really complain. I have a UR underdrive pulley and it shows I am only charging at 14.2 instead of 14.4 volts.
