full body throttle??? I think he probably means throttle body. Either way not a very good beginner mod (if one is even available). People will probably reccommend the UR pulley and an exhaust.

Throttle Body SPACER *is* a good beginner mod and goes hand-in-hand with the CAI.

Pass on the high-flow cats - there have been durabilty and customer care issues.

Catback exhaust will yeild ~10 WHP. Figure $800 - $1000.

Thanks for the input. My friend was telling me that if i only got the CAI, i wont see much improvement because... as he said it " what goes in must come out" so if alot of air is going in, it has to be able to come out. I always thought if i just got the CAI, ill notice improvement and such, but he said all i will notice is a little louder sound.

Is this true?

^^No. The stock exhaust is pretty efficient and you will see some gains from just an intake. You can always just replace the J pipe (exhaust pipe ahead of third cat) for a noticable improvement in power and then do a Stage 2 or 3 exhaust mod for improved sound. Total cost for the two exhaust mods will be around $550. There are also throttle body spacers and lighter crank pulleys available. All these mods combined will really wake up your car's performance. Do a search as there are tons of useful threads on all this.

The best begginer mod is the door handle mod, imo.
