Post Used Comptech Exhaust

Hey guys,

So i just bought a used comptech (thanks kitkit201) and was wondering if there is anything i could/should do to clean it up before installing, like internally?

Internally, I don't think so, you'll be fine. Externally though, i would prob buy some bar keepers friend and clean and polish all the pipes and mufflers.

Ok thanks! Supposedly it's got ~12k on it so it shouldn't be too bad.

squirt some soap and stick a water hose on one end of it lol...........................kidding

Nothing to clean really...except for the flanges, you can clean up the rust if any so they kiss well, and clean up what will be visible, such as tips...thats about it, and slap it on!

Thanks! I probably would have forgot to get new new one until it came then I'd have to delay installing it!!

I'm at work now, im not asking for you guys to go out of your way, but does anyone have a convient source to get the part number for the gaskets? Would they be stocked at the dealership?
