F the check valve. I wonder if it really does help ET/trap.

Clutch Slave Check Valve? Bare with me here lol; I have auto 3gTL, but daily 6mt Tsx. I just did the SS clutch line to replace the rubber bit. That made a noticeable improvement on the clutch feel. I hammer on the car time to time, and doing quick row through the gears its def noticeable how much quicker it engages, I feel like it would knock a solid .1 off Et on 1/4mile. That being said, the slave check valve has the same tendencies, of play in clutch engagement. I think if you did both 'mods' it would def help. I did order a spare slave for my tsx planning on doing the mod, but its an entirely different unit(than the TL), going to see what interchanges, that has the 'easily' modded design.

Doubtful, but it does make it more satisfying to drive; the thing really numbs clutch engagement. After watching your latest vids though, you look like you're having some issues with third. Have you switched to GM Syncromesh fluid? I'll tell ya', switch to it and you'll never miss third again! Do both mods actually. Less than $50 and you'll love it.

Yea I did switch, but I only drained/refilled once, and that was easily 20K ago. I heard it's better to do it 3x. I should probably do it again....I'm not gonna blame the fluid for my missing 3rd though, maybe partly. But I'm responsible as well

Let me know the next time you guys make it out to Bradenton. I went last night and hit a 14.85 @ 94.xx my first run out. It was cold out and the track was empty. My check engine light came on so I called it quits after my 4th run. It was my first time out in about 10 years and had a blast. Would be nice to race some other TL's.

Nice! 14.8 is a really solid time, especially if you are a stock 5AT Usually me and the OP are the only TL's at the track so it would be great if you could join us. I would like to try and make it down there again this coming Thurs...

Then lets dyno this week and go to the track next week. I'm too curious how much my 3.7 TB and mani made and how much your cutout made!
