Type S Exhaust

Is there a benefit in installing the type s exhaust on the base TL other than looking cool? Will it fit directly?

Mostly looks. Possible slightly more free-flowing.

Have to mod the bumper as the stock cut-outs are too small for the TL-S exhaust. Otherwise, I am pretty sure it is a direct fit.

mmade22 did some pics on his switch. Look up his thread.

Thank you. Do you have any recommendation for another exhaust system? I dont like the loud typical import sound but I would like to keep twin exhaust with no modifications. I like it to sound as close to stock as possible. Deep sound is ok

what do you mean by twin? you mean quad or just the two like on the base exhaust? IMO if you want some nice tips with a not so loud catback then go with Tanabe. that is supposed to be the quietest one. either that or make your own custom one at an exhaust shop.

Get a set of twin tips for the dealer and weld them on to your current exhaust if you just want the look.
