certainly you cudnt Wacker

but its not for weight loss, I had to get a jump every time the weather dipped below 50 so thought why not just use a jumper unit instead of a battery....certainly, I was thinking way ahead of myself....
Hey swoosh how about the 15lb. Braille? 574 CCA at 32 degrees....I think I'll be getting this one...

But the 15 lb battery has:
Cranking Amps at 0 Degrees F 425 amps
Cranking Amps at 32 Degrees F 574 amps
so if the temp falls below 32 (which it does in Kansas, I will be stuck again LOL).....
so I might be getting the 17lb battery:
Cranking Amps at 0 Degrees F 475 amps
Cranking Amps at 32 Degrees F 641 amps
I have tried jumping with no battery from a booster before.... and it never worked. Even when a battery is "dead" by our standards, there is still a significant amount of stored energy in it. A booster is intended to piggyback on that and give it a little extra umph. I have never had success with jumping form a booster alone. The clamp on connection just cant move enough amperage. Now, if you could figure out a way to make a good solid connection.....say remove the battery from the booster and hard wire it to the cars charging system then we may be talking. I just don't know how reliable that would be and how long it would last.

^^^ see I have never tried that before....
Yes I do know the battery does store decent amount of charge even when we say its "dead"....
also the discharging of the battery will first clear your ECU and then your memory and finally your clock....guess how i know
