Throttle Body Spacer HELP!

I just got finished putting on the P2R spacer only to realize that I left the $%!*ing old gasket on there. Is this going to be a problem? Can I leave it on or should I take it off?
THANKS

I doubt it will make a difference since it is essentially spacing it out even more, but I would take it out for peace of mind.. i hate doing things twice dont you? lol

see makers or sellers threads for that info- spacers reduce heat transfer at critical point in air to engine

any old gasket material is asking for a leak-
vac leaks are really bad as they can burn valves and other parts,,general bad running

take it apart and do it right this time= never have to worry

I like a product called gasket cinch for installing stuff- gets tacky but never dries so easy to remove parts later--extra sealing power for when in doubt.
can be used as bolt thread goop to help hold them without going to threadlock
