No TT exists for the 3G, only a SC...the SC will require you to lose the CAI, but exhaust and ProCats (if you have them) will be fine.

No turbo yet either. Just one option right now, and that's SC. Hopefully there will be a turbo kit soon!

honeygrl28, 05TLTony is right! Further more, any turbo kit will have a problem passing a visual smog check if you have smog requirements like CAL. This is because Honda designed catalytic converters that are attached inches from the heads where the exhausts come out. A turbo setup, whether single or dual will require the Cats be relocated, requiring a lot of extra plumbing.

As for the SC, it's made by Comptech, adds about 40- 60 at the wheels, so for a 6MT lets say - somewhere up near 330HP at the engine not to mention the increase in torque.

The clincher is the Comptech SC DOES NOT VIOLATE the factory warranty, is maintenance free for about 70K miles and the SC looks factory installed, it’s that clean.

If your interested in more info on the Comptech SC, go to http://www.comptechusa.com/store/product427.html, PM me or give Comptech a call at (916) 939-9118 and ask for Billy.

Good luck!

I ordered mine this past tuesday after Ryan took me for a ride in his car. Awesome power and he doesnt have the procats either. So with my 5AT and e-shift procats I expect my car to put out the same power as his 6mt. I might be wrong but not far off. I love how the car just goes at 5500-6800 a big jump. Im hoping to be at 300whp with it. Right now my last dyno at e-shift was 246whp. Comptech dynoed a 5AT and the max gain was 60 whp at 6800rpms. Ryan said if there was a way to get 500 more rpms it would help out alot = more power.

As far as voiding the factory warranty, I thought that all depended on the dealer???

becker800, If the law that applies here in California applies to all states then it goes something like this - By law, Acura (your dealer) can't deny warranty work unless they can show how the particular aftermarket mod contributed to the failure of a part or subsystem (like engine, tranny, electronics, etc...).

What you need to be careful of is, the law does not state that the dealer has to service you. He can choose to send you away to avoid getting into issues between you and with the corporate office concerning you problem. As I stated in another post, it has happened to others I know.
