Tein SS Setup

How are you guys all setting up your suspensions?

How far is the drop?

What level of dampening?

When I installed my Tein SS, I dropped it about close 2.5 inches with the stock wheels. The ride firm not bouncy. Had to rise it since getting new rims (DUBs).

i had mine setup the same as kevin....i had also had to raise it up wit the new wheels...as far as dampening, i usually ride around on the stiffest setting which isnt bad for me as im used to the rock hard Apexi suspension on my civic. But on the highway and when i have girls in my car i usually put it on the softest...Thats the beauty of the EDFC and plus i get brownie points.

are you still using the stock front strut bar w/ the EDFC? If not, what are you using, and did you have to modify it in any way to get the EDFC to work?

yea im still using the front strut bar...i just had to notch out where the motor for the EDFC would be....the rigidy of the bar was effected bbut now much at all, its just a matter of time some company makes a strut bar for our car.

Check out this thread to get an idea how to notch out the bar...i didnt notch out as much as this guy did so my bar has alittle bit more meet on it

I'm at around a 2.5-2.7" drop. There is another inch of threading below the coilovers; however, I don't think you could turn the car if you went that low. I have the front set about .2" lower than the rear. The EDFC is incredible and definitely worth the money to me.

I haven't had the front strut bar on the car and can't really tell a HUGE difference. One of these days I'll get around to cutting it out and mounting it back on there
