TEIN Price Increase!!!!

TEIN has a major price increase scheduled for 5/1/08. If you are interested in a coilover kit or springs make sure you send payment in before the end of the month to secure the old pricing. The price change is due to raw materials costs and the weakening of the US Dollar against the Yen.

Here are the new costs:

Here is our sales thread if you want to make an order:

YUP...

This is the problem...... The price of steel has gone up 40% as of May 1 2008 from Feb 1 2008.... And the weakining dollar is absolutely crushing importers since their raw materials are going up and their sales price is going down as the dollar conversion.. No joke steel is going up 10 - 20% every month!!

all metal has gotten unbelievably expensive, i work in a Play It Again Sports and the retail of our hex dumbells has gone from 55 cents a pound (which is pretty expensive as it is) to 89 cents a pound in a matter of 4 months...the demand for metal in china is greatly on the rise and unfortunately like gas now, its supply and demand

That's unbelievable. Buying a Tein coilover now is more like an investment!

Yup,

I work in the steel industry, and we are booked out one month solid on orders for our metal framing.. It has gone absolutely crazy.. The bigger problem is that a steel shortage is approaching the US since no one wants to ship into the US and lose money on the currency exchange.. Get em while their hot
