Suppliment to the Checkvalve Removal Mod

Hey guys I just read the majority of that thread and it looks really cool..a great mod!

I am not sure if you are aware but we've had a Stainless Braided Clutch Hose for about a year now for this car. The benefit being better pedal modulation ability. Especially if you have a heavy pressure plate.

Expansion in the stock hose makes modulating the clutch a little more vague. Now with that new found connection to your pressure plate, your foot should appreciate a bit more control...

Click Pic...I added free shipping for a little while for the first few takers on this one.

Thanks for reading

Hundreds of people with Civic and Integras have tried them. We've been selling these for easily 5 years now. They account for about 1/4 of my ebay feedback

correct, there's a hard line going into the slave cylinder...but there's a rubber hose that connects the hard line to the master cylinder.

only place i can think of for this is between the two hard lines. the cl-6 has a hard line from the slave and a hard line from the master with a rubber hose attaching them

not to knock mr. heeltoe, but i've had the technafit lines on my car for about a year and a half now. Brakes and clutch. ss lines are imo a great inexpensive upgrade. everyone should get it.

i would agree but i've never upgraded from regular to SS lines so i dont know $hit about it. (4 years in the military, haven't had a chance for anything! ) i'll probably end up upgrading everything during the winter months as the car will not be driven.

Eh a line is a line, all the brands do the same thing. MSRP is the same too, well FLP is $29 and TF is $30.

yup. legend guys have been running these too. we do it straight from the MC to the slave, single line, no oem rubber, or metal lines. its awesome. clutch feel is great, very direct and on point.

The only reason to replace the entire line is if you don't have any or all the hard lines in place already, or you are doing an engine bay tuck. Otherwise this short rubber hose is the only expanding line.

well, we originally started making them for the MT swap guys, b/c the metals lines are hard to find in good condition, and then alot of the time when u goto take out that rubber line u find the old lines aren't in that good of shape, so we just stuck with the single line. its not too much more expensive then u guys charge for the 2 lines.

Yes this is right , a swapped car would not have hard lines existing, therefore really what I said matches what you are saying

We are only supplying one line as well. There is only one rubber hose in the system.

Also, did you look for the items new when swapping? Honda now sells complete master and slave with all lines assembled, PREFILLED AND BLED from the factory.
