supercharger question!!

i got my supercharger installed sunday and now when i turn the wheel it makes a sound like my power steering fluid might be low so i filled it up and the belt also makes a sound and today the power steering fluid started "gushing" out of the cap...and thoughts on why this might be happening? one of my friends said it might be cuz the valve in the power steering tank might be stuck or the belt might be over tightened?

thanks in advance!

Well the power steering fluid is likely "gushing" out of the cap because you over-filled it. There's no reason why you should be low of fluid to be low in the first place.

Sounds like a belt related problem to me. Take it back to where you had it installed and ask them to check everything over. After a few hundred miles the new belt(s) are likely to stretch just a tiny bit but it will make a difference.

the supercharger is off of a members car so its not a new belt

it was filled but not to the top so i dont see why that would make a big difference...and it would stop after awhile if that was the case and it hasnt

make sure you didnt get anything stuck in the rubber hose, or the steering pump new fitting....when i was working on my car...i blocked off the fitting with a piece of napkin so fluid wouldn't leak down from the steering pump...i forgot to remove the napkin, plugged the hose in, started the car...fluid blew outta the goddamn reservoir, just like you described...unplug that hose and make sure its clear man! and look inside the fitting too

if thats the case...pump can't suck fluid, and it will only push...into the reservoir, causing it to overflow, and out the cap...it takes 2 seconds...i emptied the whole bottle
