supercharger and lag

i currently installed a supercharger and my check engine light came on. i ran a test and it said something about a knock sensor in bay 1, therefore i replaced the knock sensor and reset the system. The lag went away but the check engine light came back on giving me the same code something about the knock sensor in bay1.

would anybody be able to tell me whats wrong or whats going on? has anybody had this problem and if so what was done to fix this problem ...

i had the same problem..heres an excerpt from my old thread. hope this helps..

"CEL p0325 (knock sensor) which refused to go away after replacing the sensor under warranty forced me to look elsewhere.

As per this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/ramblings-12/nws-safe-sex-tv-ad-152628/. I unhooked the knock sensor wires (blue/red not green/red) to bypass the ACM and viola CEL was gone"

according to NATE in comptech, he said that the ACM doesn't do much with the KS (Knock Sensor) therefore just put the wiring that u cut (check the chart for KS) and put it back to org. It should fix the problem

ops i missed that part but something is kinda fishy... i dun think KS CEL should light up with e-manage... coz itz all about the advanced timing... unless itz disconnected.

exactly..you just do a pass thru re-route so it doesnt go thru the ACM anymore.

I recently did this and it worked for all of 25 miles or so before the light reappeared. I am looking into Greddy Emanage blue right now as a remedy as you cant really tune it whatsoever right now and my current setup is nothing like Comptech designed its unit to generally run with. The Greddy exhaust is way more free flowing as well as the Richie J Pipe....it needs a tune badly.

make sure you double check the wires you re-routed because i think the original write-up here on the forum had the wrong color wires indicated. so check with comptech and/or their documentation to make sure you get the right wires.
