SUPERCHARGED TL guys
This question goes out to the folks who have 3G supercharged TLs.
1) What kind of tranny fluid you use? (I used Redline)
2) How often are you changing your fluid?
thanks

Hmmm... once a year or every 15,000 is quite often. I'd think it's every 30k but I guess it all depends on each individual. I'm hitting 20k soon and is thinking about changing it. Where could I get those RedLine products, the only place I knew was ComptechUSA and they seemed to be closed for now.
Thanks for the response Dan.

2.25 qts, 3 qts and last time my technician put 4 qts. WTF! Well, my car has been running with 4 QTS in the last say 20k miles and no problems. Everyone is saying 3 QTs except my buddy Ryan. He's never wrong but everyone's saying just a bit under 3 or around 3 while he says 4
hmmmmm..........
Must do some more research or just trust him lol

How you been buddy! It's been forever since I last saw you. How's the supercharged mustang? I'm sure with your enthusiasm, it's probably at 455whp? You miss the TL at all lol....
Ryan put 4 QTS last time and seems to be a bit over but not too much. It hasn't harmed anything so I dunno, I trust the guy.

Problem is 4 QTS for complete flush but what about just draining it? I'm still waiting for Ryan's response. He'll be changing mine anyway, so most likely I'd go with whatever he says. I'm just curious as to what others think as well.
