there is no reason, i didnt want the battery slapping around in my trunk. there is no vent tube to exit out any fumes. the battery is better located in the engine bay because thats where all the fun stuff is. the car cranks over, it runs great. I havent had 1 flicker on the illuminated gauges, headlights whatsoever. my injectors are coming in tomorrow! after shopping around for weeks i was able to get 6 rdx 410cc injectors for $270. its going down this week or next week. most ppl tell me ill be fine with my 310cc type s injectors but nobody understands that the CT SC TYPE S base map i got from doug@hondata calls for 410cc, it has maps for boost. I confirmed this with him, and he made this just for me I think.
You might wanna make sure they are the correct injectors because that price is unheard of. Good luck with the install, I had a few roadbumps while doing mine but it all worked out. Make sure you install the bracket that hold the A/C compressor hose away from the SC pulley- I forgot mine and on the first test drive I rubbed a hole in the hose. Also make sure to be careful not to spill any PS fluid on the pulleys because it will ruin the belt.
The Injectors popped right in. It was fun battling with snugged injectors but at the end I'm happy with the results. I'm running the ua7 Rdx injector base map for now. Getting around town feel like it came out the factory this way. It feel faster too, maybe enhanced spray pattern/atomization makes power.
