Supercharge questikn

I found someone selling me a complete supercharger kit for 2000 dollars. I was going to buy it but a friend of mine told me not to because of the expense. My question is how much beside the 2000 am I going to be spending? I know about the shop fee. What else is there to pay for? If I'm going to spend 5000 in total to get this working properly I don't think it's worth it. Can anyone give me some insight on this who went supercharge? I'm trying to see how much is it going to cost more or less to have this mode on my car.

Btw I own a 05 acura tl auto

I would have the supercharger rebuilt just in case so that is around 500-100 bucks, turning is 500 for the aem FIC. 1000-1500 for installation unless you DIY. 500 for msc. parts

for 2000 that is a steal. GET IT. since your base auto i would stick with the comptech engineering ACM. this is what makes the kit street legal and doesnt overdue the computer. if your itching for extra ponies i would upgrade to a different tuning option.

you state that the rdx is 310cc but rdx comes in 410cc. you will need to use your factory injectors if you plan to use the supplied acm. i wouldnt run the meth unless your drag racing 50% of the time your driving. Im not intrested at all in meth injection, maybe if my car was a fully blown drag car. a racing supercharger builder told me to stay away from meth unless it is for RACING only. this guy builds the Superchargers seen on FUNNY CARS. you have stated that a HBP is included in the sale. Dont run this until someone fabs up a fuctional aftercooler. I see you will get NGK plugs i use the Denso's Ik20L plugs with the patented u groove and the worlds smallest electrode. but other than that GET IT.

make sure you have all hardware and mounts and brackets. if your missing Juss 1 thing, YOUR OUT OF LUCK

You wont spend anything more then the cost of the S/C kit and install (If you cant do it yourself). You dont need to upgrade injectors or change the engine management. I would buy it for 2k if you dont! I had a Comptech S/C on my 06 and it was really fun... but you will get use to the power... Gets kinda boring after awhile.

Its not a dramatic power increase because of many more reasons, low boost (3-5 PSI) being the biggest issue. I have been in a ton of cars 3500 lb and up that are fast.
