Jack, I guess nothing impresses you? I have worked long and hard on my garage for what it has become today. Epoxy floor, custom work bench, crown molding, TV with cable, computer with internet access, full size fridge and the list goes on. I guess its just a garage....... Right?

Your son has this puzzled look on his face in every picture lol...
I think the rear would look really sexy with the base 08 or the type-S lights

Thanks Milkman!
I am keeping the stock exhaust. I managed to unbolt the drivers side muffler and I was able to get it in the attic above my garage. One day in a few years from now when I can't drive the car anymore it will be worthless so I will install all the oem parts and sell my modded parts.
680 square feet= oversized 2.5 car garage. I have been to many peoples homes who say they can hardly get the doors open on the cars to get out. I have enough room to open both car doors fully without hitting anything. I also can have both cars in the garage while I work on most any projects. That seems to be hard to find with most homes I have seen and the last two I have owned. I hear ya Jack and yeah it is a 2 car garage in your eyes but sometimes you can come off a bit negative.
Blazing, I like the way you think. I almost pulled the trigger on base TL tails but pulled back at the last minute due to the money I just spent on this mod. By May, you will see what I come up with. Bforbrian has the lights I am after. Just need 200 to get it done.
BTW I looked at your RL in a few posts you posted and man that car is hot! Keep it up man.

You (and a few other people) misread my intent. I was commenting on the size discussion. Maybe elsewhere two-car garages are a big deal, but they're not here. And I've lived here most of my life. Even when we lived up north we had one. I have one now, in a neighborhood where the vast majority of people don't have any garage. That's why I'm of the mindset that two is the norm, three is nice, and four or more is special. Again, this is all size related. Content-wise, I think you have a great set up; it is impressive. But size-wise, yeah, it's just a garage.

This might be a tad off topic but does anyone know if I can just purchase 2 "left" side TLS mufflers online and just cut my stock mufflers off and weld the new ones on? It could save me a couple bills, ya know?

errrr....scratch that, I forgot the tips were staggered. I guess one could always cut off the tips and re-weld them in to there appropriate positions.

Grecco in LI NY has a type-S exhaust for sale in BM. I told him if he would come down on his price he would sell it and he replied, that what obo is for. I would PM him and see if you guys could work out a deal. It is nice to have one for sale somewhat local to you.

Why yes, they are. I've been a fan as long as I can remember.
I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who understands the concept of OBO. After trying to sell my wheels, it became clear to me that a lot of people on here don't.

The lower part of the aspec for the Type-S has the mesh area that goes in farther than the 04-06 base aspec kit, It has nothing to do with the exhaust tips, just has a different shape to it. Do this mod, you will love the results.
Here is my car now with the oem mesh cut and fit into place and the brand new base 07-08 tails....I love the ass of my car.....

SORRY for another silly question..
Does the A-Spec lip go on the bumper, then the entire bumper with lip gets mounted to the car???
I ask because I was told the bumper has to be at least 70 degrees so the 3M 2 sided stickyback adheres correctly. Then it has to cure for 12 hours also at 70 degrees or more.
I can't drive my car into my basement, and its still TOO cold outside.
HELP.

Gatdammit...I bought the oem mesh from the dealer after I installed the aspec kit and yes it does not ft the opening. The mesh goes on the type-S bumper. I cut the mesh so it fit on the OUTSIDE part of the bumper and not the inside. Here is the link to my DIY on how I installed the kit on my car.
Any other questions on this, please chime in on this thread below:

JD-TLS, you are wearing me out brotha...... No problem as that is what we are here for....Help. As you can see from the pictures of my car, the hole is covered up. I wouldn't cut my bumper on my car if I knew it was going to show. Check out the thread above on how I did it.
The tabs on each corner, keep the kit against the bumper on each side so the double sided tape does very little. This kit is much better than the original A-spec as Honda knew the problems from the original one and fixed them.
If your really upset about cutting your existing bumper........Sell your Aspec rear and bumper as a set to someone else for some cash and buy a new wdp bumper and aspec kit. I choose not to pay more than I had too and sold my rear aspec skirt for 150 that was mint with not a scratch on it.
Remember JD-TLS, you have the most common color TL out there so you could easly sell that bumper to a fellow member and get what you want.
