Stock Exhaust - differences between TL and TL Type S

Does anyone know for sure if the exhaust from the cat to the Y (just before the mufflers) is the same on the TL vs the TL Type S? I'm interested to know if the tubing, resonator, and mid-muffler is the same between the two cars.

The rear mufflers are the same too? I always thought stock TLS mufflers were louder than base.

Cats are different

Looks like not only the mufflers but the cats are also different on the type-s compared to the base. They have a lower cell count which increases the air flow.

^correct, on the primary cats. the two near the heads.

Base TL has a cell count of 900
Type-s has a cell count of 600

But the OP was talking more about the factory "catback"
the tubing after the Jpipe.
