From stock to Brembo
From stock to Brembo
I just got my self a set of Acura (Brembo) calipers for my car (Acura tl '04). But turn out that the calipers was from an manuel Tl.
My question is: Will it fit on my automatic car even if the caliper is made for an standard car.
Whats the different between them two. Aut/Std

Not 100%, but I think you would also need the front knuckle (part 2 and 3) from the manual car. Also, you may need the brake lines, I don't think that you do, but possible. See picture. You could always measure the width of the bolt holes on your stock ones and compare it to the Brembro ones. Just an idea. The part #s are different between the Base and the manual.
Manual - 51210-SEP-A01
Base - 51210-SEP-A11
Manual - 51210-SEP-A01
Base - 51210-SEP-A11

here's a list of the parts you may need to swap over to the brembo's... The OEM swap is more money but you will have a easier time finding pads and rotors locally when they do become worn out....
The aftermarket kits look better, cheaper, and probably perform better.
