Stock Air Filter
Anyone know of a source for stock TL-S air filters? Hinshaw Acura wants $41.00 plus 9% tax so I though I caould same $ by buying on-line. HANDA doesn't sell the TL-S filter although they sell filters for the 07 TL.
Thanks

If you want to keep your factory airbox I would recommend the K&N drop-in filter. It has a million mile warranty and NEVER needs to be replaced. It should also give you a bit better airflow. Check the link http://www.knfilters.com/news/news.aspx?ID=971
The part number for the TL-S is 33-2379.
Hope this helps, and enjoy the benefits on non-paper filters!!

Your local dealer is ripping you off. If you follow the OE parts link I gave you'll see the OE filter is $26.61 Retail and $20.49 discounted.
$41 bucks must be parts and "installation" (if you call the removal of 4 screws installation).

I replaced my stock filter with a K&N when my car only had around 1000 highway miles on it...meaning that was just over a week after I bought the car. We can probably work something out if you want a very slightly used stock filter. PM me if you are interested. Otherwise, I will have no use for the K&N in a couple of weeks as well, since I just ordered a CAI from Excelerate. let me know if you have interest in one or the other.

I just pulled my 5,000 mile K&N out and went back to paper since it's been dusty lately. Just not worth the inferior filtration for a questionable gain in hp.
Amsoil makes a dry lifetime washable filter that outflows the K&N and filters better than OEM for about the same price as the K&N. I've been checking their website weekly to see when they come out with a filter for the TLs.

I went with the K&N drop in filter as well with my new 2008 CBP TL Type-S. Mine has just over 1,000 miles on it and I noticed a little better throttle response (butt dyno) just after my install. Factory air filter was very thick and looked very restrictive vs K&N.
