ithink im keeping the tanabes, lately a majority of people have been giving me non stop compliments about them, and hopefully with the new aspec type S i can finally see the FULL muffler rather than just the tip and half of the muffler

only thing now is to:
make the mufflers stick out a bit more (flushed with the lip)
add in the ypipe

then i think my journey is done

Still..he paid 500 but the shop said if they knew how much work it would really be, they would have charged 750 or something..I really like his grill but I prefer PPLAPW's over his without the A..makes it look a little more meaner or maybe its just the all black headlights compared to part chrome

What do you guys think of my muffler positioning? Are they too angled/not enough or do I need to change anything?

Looking into resonator as I'm writing this..I kinda like how loud it is btw, but don't want to be considered a "ricer" haha I dont think my exhaust is setup ricey though...or atleast i hope not? hahah

lol dam this thread just stopped...well..time to bumpity :X

got my aspec back from the body shop...i told them to paint it to anthracite metallic...a day later i just remmebered that my car REALLY ISNT an anthracite...

the rear of my car is more of a faded gray...the dealer told me its been in an accident but thats it! didnt ssay anything about a repaint...when i went to the body shop to pick it up, i held it next to my car...the paint did NOT match my rear bumper no it di int....-_-

it was my fault for not telling them to color match it to my "anthracite" color....paint was 200 gawdd....well...ill leave it on til a month or so, then ill paint it at the shop where my friends getting a whole car repaint, maybe theyll discount a lil haha

anywho...heres the tanabes on 04-06 ASPEC



now on the 07 Type S aspec

 

i think it looks better on the 04-06 ASPEC

the 07 type S rear has too large of an opening, so it feels like there's a lot of empty space.

the Type S rear looks great man!! haha I'm excited for the setup all over again haha. Oh and you're right about the me needing some typeS tails...after the rims

I think it looks better with the type s rear because of the particular design of the tanabe... as for me when I do the canister I may go with the base a-spec...

 

I promise you that you won't want anything else after the quads. Whether it be my quads or any other quads...you will realize that the opening was just meant for that.

Been a very long time since one of us stage 3 with upgraded muffler's guys posted on here... so after selling my skunk2 canisters to some local guys which I had myself painted black with engine block paint, I went ahead and re-ordered a couple more this time I won't paint them though...
