You can buy Rotora or Stoptech lines from Excelerate for about the same price.

We also have our own lines.

XLR8 Performance now offers our very own XLR8 Stainless Steel Brake Lines. Each stainless steel brake line is made up of teflon hose that has an extruded teflon core with an outer stainless steel braided wire covering. The ends are then permanently crimped on each end. Each line is then finished with a black PVC cover, which gives added protection from flying debris or further abrasion protection from the line rubbing on suspension components. All lines are DOT certified and manufactured for us by an industry expert who has 25 years of experience.

I just wanted to give props to Excelerate for his products. Yesterday I received the SS brake lines as he describes above as well as ATE Super Blue Brake Fluid.

Since I hadn't replaced brake lines on my '04TL before, one thing that would have been nice is if Excelerate labeled which lines were for the front versus the rear of the car. Long story short I figured it out by accidentally installing the rear line on the front. Okay, it wasn't that big of deal. I fixed it quickly. Also, the stock bolts with the hole in it is far superior in quality than the ones supplied. You don't have to worry about torquing the stocks nice and tight as I did on the ones provided and snapped it! (DOH!). Anyhow, all is good now.

Anyhow, after properly flushing the stock system, installing the new lines, and using the new fluid - everything is sound.

I've driven off and on over the twelve hours and I am very happy with the product (minus the bolts provided and learning which lines were what).

Props to you!
