Some questions for the first upgrade

hey guys! i just bought my acura tl 05, i have plan to upgrade it. my first mod is exhaust system. i wanna make it noise and fast. i wanna get the atlp cat back. my question is that if i bought the atlp exhaust system, do i have to change the rear lip to fit the exhaust system? and i wanna modify the intake as well. but someone told me if you modify the intake, you need to modify the ECU as well. is that true? thx!

no, you dont have to modify the ecu.
its very hard to tune our cars.

there are two versions of that exhaust....a base version and a quad set up.
obviously, the base version will fit with no modifications to your base TL.
if you decide to go with the quad set up, then you would have to modify your bumpers to accommodate these larger tips.

you can do whatever mods at any time you would like.
there is no time limit, there is no order.

the resonator would be the easier of the two. do that first.
then when the jpipe gets in you can do that.

or if you want to wait to do both at the same time, you can. its completely up to you
