Solution for headers
there is 1, cut up the motor block and install some custom headers, it isn't worth it. if you really want to do headers and not spend money cutting up the block, take out the motor and polish and port it. The stock design is very good already, plus it saves weight.
so with the pre cats emissions will fail? and what kinda smell we talking about, i just placed an order on these without knowing to much about them, can i get some info from you guys.

some states dont do knox on obdii... for those states that just plug in to the obdii the precat deletes pass with flying colors
for those states which test the exhaust via putting the car on the dyno and idling and accelerating the precat deletes will not pass... unless you install like 1 900 cell cat in place of the 3rd cat (just for the emissions test)
the smell really isn't as bad as you may thinK... although if you are following a catless tl at wide open throttle you will smell a faint 2stroke dirtbike like smell
the only other time you will smell it is if there is a tail wind and you just slowed down after going wide open
