Solid Mounts

My motor mounts are bad so I'm planning on doing this. How would I go about taking out all the motor mounts? Can I take all of them out at once? Do I need to do one at a time?

Not gonna work...the 3 engine mounts are fluid filled pieces with no gaps. You might be able to add some poly to the 2 or 3 tranny mounts...dunno for sure, though. Your best bet is probably going to be aftermarket mounts.

You can still poly the engine mounts

Do you just fill them with poly instead of the fluid?

We offer an aftermarket motor mount set which is much more durable than the factory mounts. We can also get a 90A bushing if you really want it but the firmest I would recommend is the 75A bushings.

You don't want a true solid mount. Your hearing will be shot and you will hate your car. In your case I'm assuming you mean poly filled mounts.

If you go with a poly mount and you have a 6mt, you can benefit from the damper that comes stock on the 5at. I removed mine a long time ago and it does reduce vibrations at idle with the AC on. It might counteract some of the additional vibrations of the poly mounts. If you have a 5at already, disregard.

Would the 3M urethane treatment work in this respect?

I can recommend searching in the Second Generation subforum. They have done this a LOT over there.
