Simple mods for my '07 TL Type S

I recently purchase a K&N intake but it doesn't seem to fit my Acura even though the K&N website said it would. Hesitant to by anything other than K&N but would consider AEM or maybe INJEN. anyone have thoughts on this or anything else that would be a good suggestion for a cheap modification? any input, suggestions, links for parts would be of great help, new to this forum

Excelerate, a vendor here, is offering a really cheap deal for a CAI and throttle body spacer. It's only the first two though...here's the link:

If you have a six speed I'd definately do the slave cylinder mod. Did it to my car and it finally drives like a sports car should.

Yes the slave cylinder mod is a must.

BTW I will be in Fishers on Tuesday next week if you are interested in any of my products we could work out a deal.

I don't have a TL-S yet but when I get one my hopes are for a 6 speed. What is the slave cylinder mod and how does it make the best mod list?

How often are you in Fishers? I'm about 2 miles south of the Fishers line, and may be interested in some future purchases....

Did your K&N look like this? TL or TL-S?

It is the Accord shown.
I would suggest taking a small piece of aluminum, tube of gasket material and some small screws and cover the opening.
I plan on making my own custom intake for my TL-S similar to this design.

I'd recommend Takeda... The AEM V2 is good but is expensive. Here is the takeda. It comes in silver or black. 7-8hp but the ringer is 14ft/lb tq. I dont know if the Type-S' weak spot is from 0rpm to 3000rpm but the TL-P's 3.2L def is in that area. Here is the pic/video/dyno plot for it.
