short ram intake

I'm not sure if this has been posted b4, i tried looking but found nothing.

I've been trying to find a short ram intake for 04 tl but the only thing I found was that Weapon R intake.

Any input?

I'm pretty much a car retard, im still learning but slowly. Lets say I'm lost on install the CAI, so making a short ram is out of the question lol.

The real question should be why.

The factory system is a semi-cold air intake. Add a short ram and you now have a hot air intake.

I figured an aftermarket intake is better then no intake, maybe its just better to get a CAI and get it installed. I am alittle worried about hydrolocking though.

do a search of the Weapon R and you will find what u looking for... I have runned with it for a few months now and are happy with it, in terms of sound, it does definitively give the growl that you want and crave.... it changes the characteristics some too, feels quicker but in terms of hp its hard to say as I did it with together with atlp Jpipe and racepipe. I boxed it in with a sheetmetal heat shield also.

Weapon-R

I have the Weapon-R Dragon and am very happy with it. I did cut a block off plate from a sheet of aluminum to shield the filter from the heat of the engine. Works great for me.
