Seeking advice from those w/ catbacks
Hey guys,
Just installed my cat back system and was wondering if you guys could suggest some ways of getting a little more sound. Let me explain what was done! The third cat, was replaced with a high-flow cat from magna-flow. Everything else is straight stainless steal 2.5' from third cat back and 2.25' from the Y pipes to the mufflers, which are Borla Turbo's, something turbo but the mufflers are from borla....The onlyt hing i reused was one resonator (can shaped resonator, the shape of those pringles shape cylinder...i don't have a diagram to show which one but hope u understand)
The guy told me if he takes it out there might be some buzzing and if he takes it out and its really bad he could put it back in. Anyway has anyone ran straight piping minus all the resonators? Any buzzing? Are there any alternatives like an aftermarket resonator? Is this worth it?
I get a nice sound from 2000- 3500 rpm audible inside the cabin but beyond that rev range i hear my intake and its as almost the exhaust note is silenced?! I heard that's good in a way because while cruising on the high you don't want constant annoying drone, however is this normal?
Ppl who are outside my vehecle tell me that once i punch it and it hits red line its audible form the outside!
Finally ppl say that our cars are made with pretty non - restrictive exhausts, my buddy has the same TL and just an intake so later in the evening once things quiet down i'm going to do a couple runs on the freeway...beautiful day! ANyways thanks for your output...

Apologize for not seeing thread before
I searched and can't believe i missed the thread before about removing the resonator...Anyway, out of tens of pages if u'd still like to comment on whether you'd remove the resonator or not, please feel welcome! Well i have completely custom exhaust and muffler, so anyone with a aftermarket system is what i'm hoping to hear feedback from ! thanks
P.S don't be too upset if it seems my question was naswer in the other thread. . . i'm goin to post a video of my borla catback sometime this week when i have time to video tape it!
