I just noticed that this dye has to be sprayed on, see the clear tarp behind the seat in the top picture? that has red overspray on it.. So it was sprayed. I wish the picture was closer , so I could see how the cracks in the seat turned out. But I think they do have some fillers on that website. But if you put too much filler on it, then it would fill in the perforation. Also, sprayed seats may not have the same "Feel" and "finish" as the original leather. Meaning, it may feel like "paint". Like SEM paint. SEM makes a color to match my seats, but Paint definately will not feel like Leather even if you spray leather. That SEM paint is best to use on the hard plastic pieces in your car or maybe just a single Spot on a seat. But I would not spray an entire seat with SEM paint. I have done it before on another seat. And it basically felt like paint. haha So that said, I wonder what this "leather repair kit" feels like after applied. Because they do spray it like Paint in the Video on that link above.. But it may not be "as bad" as raw paint from a can. Either way you would have to remove the seats from the car to spray it.
