Seafoam Help

I have done a lot of research on Seafoam and know some highly reputable mechanics who say if it is done right will not harm the O2 Sensors, Pistons, or anything like that. What I was told was to dump about a cup of it down the power brake intake so it hits the top of the engine, then drive for about 40 minutes after you blow the exhaust out of the engine, and then dump the rest in the oil, drive again, and then change the oil.

My question is...in my 2007 TL where is the Power Brake Line? I know it is just a little hose that I disconnect, but I cannot find a diagram online anywhere.

Thanks in advance for the help.

What I did with my Pilot was to get both the can and the spray. Used the can in the oil and gas as directed, then sprayed the whole can into the throttlebody while the car was running. Let it sit and then started it.

Made a huge difference. You don't want to just dump it into the intake. It needs to slowly be introduced so it get's into all of the cylinders.

You probably should find someone who knows what they are doing.

look in the garage I think there is a DIY. I did it 2 years ago and I am thinking of doing it again. What I did was use 1 can, 1/3 in the gas tank with very little gas left in it, 1/3 sucked in through the vacuum line on the intake (while the car is working just letting it suck up a little at the time so the car wouldn't turn off), and 1/3 in the oil right before I was gonna change it. Then I let it sit there for 15-20 min while I was doing something else and started it. Then went for a drive on the road without many lights to avoid slowing down and kept my RPM above 3000 I think for about 15-20 min. Then changed the oil and it was good to go.

A-107: DIY-Seafoam on 3rd gen TL

Is the Seafoam DIY for 2nd Gen TLs exactly the same as what to do for 3rd gen TLs?
