RV6-P HFPCs installed on my '04 base!
just had Marcus from Heeltoe install the High flow pre cats from rv6-p on my 04 tl base AT along with the UR underdrive crank pulley and wow!
the car sounds meaner and pulls harder. my current setup is now rv6-p HFPCs followed by ATLP j-pipe + high flow 3rd cat and ATLP base non-res cat back exhaust
i can tell that the cats also added some low end torque since the car feels "lighter on its feet" so to speak when i put it in drive.
thanks to marcus for the install and giving me some stickers

i didn't notice any rasp, i'll check again tonight when i go out for dinner and a cruise.
the drone was there before the cats and it's still there afterwards, slightly louder but i don't mind.
i was talking to marcus about possibly getting a resonator tig-welded in, but for now i love it just the way it is

ATLP Base exh-$1,100
ATLP j-pipe- $450
ATLP hi-flow 3rd cat-~$200(I think)
RV6-P HFPC- ~$400(not too sure on this either)
there's a breakdown of the approximate cost of his exhaust setup.

it definitely cost more than a grand. to answer your other question, he has the ATLP Base exhaust(same as me) which is $1,100 by itself.

Anybody know how the ATLP base non-res cat back exhaust
compares to the stock type-s exhaust from the cat back?

The tips are different. I had the ATLP quads for my 07 TL-S. The tips are made to accomodate the type s rear bumper. The base tips will look to small on a type s rear bumper.
