I would think that pound for pound, precat+jpipe+3rd delete will produce more power/torque than just a catback exhaust. But of course, you can always combine all these mods, and have some crazy gain. lol

Btw, is that your Ferrari is the avatar? Badass!
yea she is mine. Thabks. She is catless and tuned as well.

yup i have all of richie's products installed on my 08-s and it has great ground clearance. The only thing i scape is the bottom flange of the 3rd cat delete flange, since it is a triangle shape one of the points is facing the ground. I am bottomed out on tein basics.

install of precats was a pain but after having do it the next times will be way easy. Car sounds great, i get compliments about sound all the time, but i think i over did the custom exhaust, the drone at 2k is ridiculous or its just how is sounds. The online videos due no justice for these mods. This is what my car sounds like.

Your car sounds like a straight race car! Little raspy for my taste..

It's been while since I've been on the boards...i'm picking up the J-pipe for sure, but saw the combo thread and have a quick question. Are the precats legal? Am I gonna have to take them off come inspection time? I've heard the exhuast smell increases, this is why I ask.

All I can tell ya is...with Richie J pipe, Richie third cat delete, and Richie precat deletes you cant go wrong and wont be disappointed whatsoever. It will be a totally different car with these parts on there. Highly recommend.

I put them on there after having a CEL light running for a LONG time as my E-Shift pro cats were baked completely. After install...the CEL was gone as it was reset...the CEL came back on for a number of days shortly after I got up and running from the shop...but went back off thereafter. Currently running with no CEL whatsoever. Wonderful product with excellent quality and a very fair price. Cant beat it.

Its totally cool! Didn't intend to start a bitch thread at all. I am in no rush whatsoever. Besides its only been a day, since that stupid paypal mix up delayed everything. Even when I get it it will just sit there untill I get the CB(which is taking a long time to ship )

Anyway, take your time! I know 1099's suck(i think thats what you use)

your gonna be very happy i felt good power when i just swapped the pre cats but then when i put on the resonator pipe in place of my 3rd cat even with my stock exhaust i felt i big power boast up top. the car is an animal i havent had a chance to race any body yet with everything installed...

i see you have a stage three exhaust rite? i would prob sway out the resonator and put a aero one. thats prob what im gonna do to give it a better sound. i also have a stage 3 exhaust it does have some drone

Probably around 1/2 the gains expected with the catback. Since the stock piping is 2.25", and has a resonator and a mid muffler, also have heard the stock mufflers are very restrictive.

But will definitely make a huge difference in noise

Would the same combination except with a race pipe be the same on the TL-S? Regarding the gains and all.
