that drive-by clip is just sex to my ears. I keep replaying it over and over again, really hope I get mine soon. So when can we expect the in-car vid? I'm hoping that it'll be one of those exhausts that is bearable during everyday driving and make everyone turn their heads when you gun it

I came across a base TL today while driving and it had a different exhaust on it... Didn't sound anywhere near as good and i still burned him.... So needless to say I really want this now.

did you scrape at the same spot... I also got a new scrape right after the resonator I have a small scrape there as well...(Northeast roads and driveways suck!!)

LOL...I'm not a fan of Bridgestone tires...I like my Nitto INVO's..

yeah I still can't believe it's coming from my car...I even had a older guy with an E90 M3(V8), come and tell me and I quote ""that is the nicest exhaust sound I've ever heard coming from a Japanese car""" ...my thinking is hmmm you havent heard a GT-R then or a NSX or 350z/G35!!...but still pretty interesting how the exhaust gets noticed from someone driving an M3(which btw his exhaust also sounded amazing he had the Corsa rear axle back muffler(sweet sweet)

But yeah I have some in cabin video's but i need to post them up as soon as I get a chance. I will try posting it up later today!

I got a clip of mine in a tunnel but the community made a few suggestions...

1. While stopped in the tunnel rev the car a few times

2. Run through the gears in said tunnel

3. If you are unable to stop in the tunnel, be sure to downshift!!! I was in 3rd, but apparently 2nd would have been better.

Maybe if you do it right, the rest of acurazine won't complain

I guess im going to make another attempt. I'm sure your tunnel drive through will satisfy the masses. GL

yeah that was Ted williams tunnel...there are a bunch of tunnels that go under downtown boston around airport, I wish I just had time during the night to do this when the roads are completely empty, but either way it will do!!

wheneva you come thru Boston hit me up and we can cruise thru those tunnels....the video clip as you also know does no justice to the actual sound in person

This exhaust sends tingles down my spine everytime i rev past 3000 rpms! And it dumps a load of gas when u let off the throttle at around 2000 too and creates a little backfire noise, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!

i have a noob question..i thought its just pcd's to jpipe to exhaust....where does the 3rd cat come in? and when you said test pipe...is that to replace the 3rd cat? you mentioned it was from RV6 but i dont see it on their list of parts, unless this is something that is discontinued or custom...

Thanks...... It is just as you mentioned PCD's, Jpipe V3 and Cat-back exhaust..... I have old set-up so with the V2 Jpipe you needed a Test pipe which he no longer makes due to the V3 Jpipe with takes care of both!!...

I realize this thread hasn't had much movement in the last couple months, but I had to say thanks to Boston... I just threw down my deposit for the 2nd batch - First real mod other than stoptech slotted rotors and stoptech pads all around. The videos were true inspiration and a huge help.
I've got family all around Boston/the Cape so I'll have to keep an ear open for that sweet type-s's rear when I visit.
