Factory Brembos are 12.2". The cheap 12.6" Wilwood BBKs are around $600 if I remember right. I found my 13" Rotora BBK for $800 used.
BBKs are made for the 5at but not the 6mt so there are a minimal amount of parts to swap out. It took barely any longer than a normal brake job to install my 13" kit.

RL Factory Rotors as well as 06+ 350Z/370Z base rotors are 28mm thick. The Brembo 350Z rotors are 30mm thick which we know fits. The only question is whether the calipers with new pads would be able to grasp 32mm thick rotors found on the 14" FX50 Rotors. Who wants to be the guinea pig? One of us would have to purchase the rotor and test fit it.
Also, I think we would have to have Paul NVA-AV6 fab us a bracket that is 3/4" thicker to handle the rotor diameter increase.
One thing I know for sure is that the 14" rotors WILL NOT clear the factory 17" 5 spoke TL wheels. In fact, it might have trouble clearing some 18" wheels around the the outer edges of the wheel.
BTW, my current wheels are 18x8 with a 45mm offset for the person that asked. Also, the pads have a little more surface area than the TL Brembo pads.

Follow up information post install for bleeding brakes
I've gotten a lot of emails from members asking me if I've noticed a soft or spongy brake pedal post install even after bleeding them. The advice I received from other sources on the forum has been to activate the ABS several times to purge all the possible air out of the ABS controllers. Once this is done, you'll need to re-bleed the front brake lines as the purged air and old fluid from the ABS controller goes back into the regular brake lines. I went ahead and re-bled all 4 lines just to be sure.
When I bled my system after the install, my pedal would still occasionally travel down to the floor, which meant there was still plenty of air in the system. Only after activating the ABS several times and re-bleeding would solve this problem. Member Kidchenz89 had the same issue, and his problem was solved by this method as well.
As for activating the ABS post install - the easiest places to do it would be a wide open street with no one behind you - preferably wet pavement or dirt where it is easy to lock up the tires (although not required). Basically you just go about 35mph or so and lay on the brake pedal as hard as you can and Voila! - Do this a couple times to make sure the ABS has fully cycled and go home and re-bleed your brakes.

Bump.
Just wondering...
Would it be worth any sort of benefit to convert from the Brembos to the RL Calipers?
I found some locally at a scrap yard... wondering if I should pull the trigger on them.
I currently have a 6spd.

Okay, I've already got calipers on the way...looking into a rotor now...I see it was mentioned on page 1 that a 13" rotor is possible to do...would the bracket size change at all? Also...what car uses a 13" rotor that has the same bolt pattern the TL does?
Edit: After a little digging, I've found out the 2003 or whatever year you'd like...Mustang Cobra has a bolt pattern that matches the TL's AND has a 12.984" rotor.![Yum](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/yum.gif)
I'll be researching a little more to be exact, I don't want any mishaps.

Don't believe so. He sold them.
People did the math and realized these actually degrade performance and brake bias.
