Yes.

We've still seen failures on the Innovative V2 mounts. I'd have to find the email but a customer sent me the link of the bushing with still the same doughnut issue.

I know you had an issue with Innovative with your first mounts. But the new design has been pretty reliable for us. We've sold quite a number of sets with no complaints whatsoever.

Please, share with us the issues you've seen. I'd like to understand how these mounts would donut like the original XLR8/Innovative ones did.:

Also, I've had these mounts in my car for at least a year and a half now...they do fit and work well. The Innovative mounts are very robust.

Truth be told we sell both mounts and have no complaints on either at all. Both seem to fit an work well.

How bad does it vibrate and how long have you had it?

OEM mounts are rubber so they don't really compare well to the urethane aftermarket ones. Speaking from experience the difference between 60 and 70 is pretty minor/negligible. You'll get quite a bit more noise and vibration in the cabin, but it isn't something you can't get used to but you will definitely be taking the luxury down a notch.

Any long term negative effects due to the increased vibration such as loosening of parts / increased cabin noises squeaks, i.e. door panels, glove box, etc.? Anything worth worrying about?

Curious as I am on the market for a set of mounts. Which Mount xlr8 or innovative offer a more comfortable feel ? ( which mount will transfer less vibration into the cabin ?)

No. I've even doing an interior swap on my car and find there to be no rattles or noises coming from the car. Definitely the mounts will cause a rattle if something does come loose, but these cars are fairly well bolted together. On an individual case, I would have to say it all depends...you might get more rattles, you might not.

Ultimately, the interior vibrates more and just that vibration has a sound.

You're not going to notice any difference between the two brands of mounts. Just go for the lowest number, 62 with the Excelerate or (is it 60?) with the Innovative.

Innovative is 60A. But there is going to be considerable increase in NHV even with the softest mounts.

If stock is a two on a scale from one to ten, 60a is going to be eight and 80 is going to be about a nine.

Is there a mileage average for when stock motor mounts fail?

Really curious about doing this mod… seems absolutely completely worth it.

Any insight on this ^^^ ???

I also thought of something else…

Is it worth it to do the motor mounts with the 105K service? (I've never changed motor mounts so no idea what it entails)

I'm at 80K right now so still have some time but I was just curious.

There isn't an exact mileage. Each car is different. Some people do it as early as 50k or as late as 150k. Some people do it as an upgrade right away and some people are tired of replacing mounts often.

One thing is for sure, the harder you are on the car the sooner they will fail. And I would expect manual cars to have failures sooner than automatics.

heeltoe or excel, you guys ever hear of the bolts rattling out of the subframe with stiffer mounts? I had mine installed when I had my new clutch installed since they were dropping the subframe anyways, and I looked yesterday and one bolt was completely missing and the other one was about a half inch loose from being tightened all the way down on the front motor mount.
