Removing Precat Deletes
I've got an 07 TL-S with precat deletes, j-pipe and test pipe. I am considering removing the precat deletes. I'm just worried that I will miss the power. Anybody done this and was the power difference really noticeable. I can not remember how my car felt before I put them on. It has to be over a year now.

^ you'll def notice a difference in power. your pcd's are MUCH less restrictive than OEM cats.
why are you taking them off?

Safety Car
The rush from the PCD occurs past 4500 or 5000 RPM to redline. Because you very seldom (or never) use wot, there will be no love loss for you.
My vote is that you will not notice much power loss after removing the PCD. You will probably be more happy to have the quieter sounding car again than you will be unhappy from any performance loss.

Inaacurate is dead on. I've had my pcd's and jpipe brand new and installed, within 5 days I took everything off and sold it. I thought to myself "it's nice, but $800 in my pockets is nicer" When I took them off I noticed very little difference, that's because I don't WOT or drive past 4k rpms which is where the notice is. However if you do WOT you'll notice a slight difference in pull.
Alot of people say how restrictive the cat is and such, but have you even tried both? Have you taken a look at them? Do you feel them being restrictive?
Alot of people are just talk. Yes it's restrictive but I don't think it's that restrictive, like I said, I didn't notice much difference from normal daily driving from light to light, traffic, merging on highways. If you look at the cats, they are wide, and the center is really wide where the honeycomb sits, if you look at pcd's it's narrow, yes more free flowing but not as much volume.
