Removing plastic in engine compartment?

Just bought an '07 TL Type-S. Are there any issues with removing all of the plastic covers in the engine compartment? There is the actual plastic engine cover and then all of the plastic covers over the rest of the compartment. Any concerns with additional heat under the hood without the covers? I would just like to be able to see the entire compartment.
Thanks

Please remove all the covers, the engine and other components will cool better-read ventilate, plus you'll be able to see everything. As far as dirt, no big deal, just dust the engine bay once in a while. Moreover it's a beautiful free revving engine, let it show, I don't understand why automakers insist on hiding the engines with ugly plastic covers

LOL...btw paz is joking

yea, as far as i understand, the plastic cover has a few uses, 1) being to discourage ppl from doing any mods (lol like that's stopped us anyway), and 2) the average consumer aestheically finds it more appealing to not have to see all the "complex" connections in the car, so they created platic coverings with symbols for everything to be easily "understood"...

so go ahead take off the covering, you'll quickly notice that covering also does mitigate a considerable amount of dirt, but i mean if you're not keen on seeing your engine, then maybe you open your hood periodically enough to clean it too.

other than that, the only reason i keep my plastic on is cuz if it's off, that gap where a S/C could be really makes me want to rob a bank.
