Remove a turbo?

Hey guys, so I am looking to sell my 05 TL and upgrade to a TL type S. I found a one for a decent price but it has a turbo on it. I was just curious, is it a bad idea to get a turbo'd car? Will it still be reliable? If I were to get it, could I possibly remove it and have the car be back to the way it was? Any info will help. Thanks guys.

If thats the case i wouldnt even buy it then. If anything reliability has been compromised already, you would just be losing out then. Either buy it and enjoy the turbo for as long as you can or dont even bother with it...

I agree. If you want to buy the car with a turbo just leave it as is and enjoy the ride. Not saying it can't still be a reliable car, but that all depends on how you treat it. If you want to mash the gas all the time and rip through gears and put a beating on it, then no, it's probably not going to give you great reliability factor. You are putting more stress on parts that were not engineered for a turbo to be put on them in the first place. So either buy it with the turbo and leave it, or don't buy it at all. Don't waste our money bringing it back to stock. Buy a stock car or slightly modified one and do your own thing with it.

maybe like a couple of weeks ago.

but it was sold.

to the OP, it depends on the install.
if it was a great install with engine management, i would pick it uP!!!!

if no engine management, it'd be scary to see what kind of damage the turbo kit caused
