Rear motor mount???

I purchased and installed a set on XLR8 motor mounts on my wife's 04 TL automatic. She could not deal with the vibration at stops, so I replaced the rear XLR8 mount with a factory mount and the vibration stopped. So does anyone see a problem with running XLR8 front and side mounts with a factory rear?

Yeah, I final had to give in because at red lights and pulling out of parking spots people would look to see if the car was falling apart. We gave a 3-4K miles to see if it would get better with no luck.

Make sure the bolt that goes through the center of the mount isn't over-torqued. We've also seen some people twist the motor when installing the mounts which will cause unnecessary vibration.

You will be fine with running a stock rear mount with our front and side mount.

AHHHH.. This is great. I also have a question. Ive had my mounts for three months. I have 62a as well. The vibrations have subsidided. However, there are days where the car vibrates like the first few weeks of install and other days, no vibrations.I'm curious if the weather has an effect towards the mounts that cause them to vibrate more on cold rather than hot days, because it tends to vibrate more on cold days. Also if you replace the rear with stock would that mount eliminate most of the vibrations, rather than changing the side mount instead?

Have to look into this, even though i dont have bad vibration. The dealer though has noticed*and i knew prior* that my side-mount is not even connected. Hell the one bolt doesnt even have a head on it anymore! Looking into new mounts anyways.
